Ironing Tips

By Martine Lykos None of us enjoy ironing! Let’s be honest. That will never happen. But if you have a minute, read the following tips. They will help you save time and avoid unwanted wrinkles. First of all, it is very important to use a good quality steam iron for both bedding and table linens. Always check the irons plate and make sure it is free of mineral deposits, otherwise, it will leave brown marks as you iron, especially when you press the “steam” button. To clean the steam holes of the plate, make sure the iron is cold and use pipe cleaners dipped in soapy water to scrub the holes. To rinse, turn you iron on, and “steam” the soapy water out onto a rag. If the plate itself is dirty, use a soft scrub cream cleaner and rub the plate gently. You should always fill your steam iron with distilled water, particularly if your water is hard. To save time and make your ironing easier, I would recommend using a heat-reflective cover on your ironing board. Another clever solution is to place aluminum foil under the ironing cloth; it will retain heat longer while you iron. Do not forget to set your iron at the temperature indicated by the universal laundering symbols on the tags. To minimize your ironing time, you should fold your laundry as soon as your dryer stops. For best results, you should iron your linens while still damp and on the wrong side of the fabric to avoid damaging any finishes like embroidery, cutwork or lace. You should place a protective cloth before you iron for total protection. I find this very useful against those lovely pressmarks when ironing over hems and seams. To avoid shining marks of delicate fabrics, place tissue paper over the material and make sure the iron isn’t too hot If you run out of time and cant iron your damp linens right away, place them inside a plastic container that will be stored in the refrigerator. This will prevent mildew and give you until the following day to catch up. Before you start ironing, always stretch your dampened articles to their normal shape. For a fresh and sweet smell, you should spray your linens with perfumed linen water while ironing. You can even make your own scented water by mixing essential oil (any flower you like, lavender, rose etc…) with distilled water. Do not use too much starch as it will cover the surface of the iron and might invite unwanted guests like silverfish in your linen closet. I usually like a little on my napkins as they fold better and keep their shape on the dinner table. It is a good idea to wait a while before folding your freshly ironed linens, to make sure they are perfectly dry. With linen, iron the wrong side first, and finish with the right. This little trick will help bring back the sheen of the fabric. A hot iron will render linen all its crispness and make every wrinkle disappear. Even though linen can take the highest temperature of any iron, you should always pretest it on a small corner. With a linen garment, iron the wrong side only. If you have access to a fabric store, ask them to give you an empty cardboard tube. It comes in handy when ironing large tablecloths. I usually place my ironing board next to a large counter or table and roll the table cloth around the tube as I go. For smaller pieces, you can use a couple of chairs next to your ironing board. A steam iron should always be used over damp cotton linens. If embroidered, they should be ironed on the back side and protected by a press cloth. The Importance of Touch

By D.S. Braun Through the simple process of touch, Reflexology is so effective in the healing process. In the hi-tech world that we live in, touch has taken second place to machines. Physiotherapists are now using machines instead of their hands. Doctors use machines to scan bodies and no longer rely on their hands for diagnosis. People have forgotten how to hug one another. They now shake hands. They walk past one another in the streets and do not even greet each other. Electric blankets are used to keep warm in bed - human arms have become redundant. Healing takes place through an exchange of human energies and not through an exchange of electricity. There is sufficient evidence that over-exposure to electricity increases the risk of cancer. Even living near high voltage pylons is reputed to deplete the immune system. Research was done in an orphanage in London where the mortality rate of babies was very high. People were paid to come into the orphanage and to play with an experimental group of babies. The mortality rate remained the same for the babies in the control group but the experimental group babies who were played with every day showed a higher survival rate. When you are feeling down in the dumps and someone hugs you, you immediately feel better. This occurs because of the exchange of human energies and since positive energy can be used to destroy negative energy, you change the energy field of the person and they will immediately feel better. All of us have the gift of healing in our hands. You instinctively use your hands to heal. When you bang your knee, you automatically put your hand on it. When a child bangs his head against something, you put your hand on his head. You are transmitting healing energy without even knowing it. Reflexology, which is an ancient form of healing which stimulates energy points in the feet, hands and body, is one modality that effectively transmits healing energy. Cheaper Car Loans

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Peter_Kenny]Peter Kenny Every time you go to a car dealer to buy a car, whether it be new or used, it is highly likely that the dealer will also have on offer, various financing deals that will assist you in paying for the car. While these may seem extremely attractive, especially if you dont think you could afford the car outright, you should always check twice to make sure you are not getting ripped off or taken advantage of. The most important thing to know in these situations where the car dealer is offering you vehicle financing, is that you do not have to take your car loan from the dealer. There are a host of alternative car loan sources that will be willing to lend you the money you need to buy the car, such as banks and other lenders, and if they are reluctant to lend you the money you need, perhaps this is an indication that you cannot afford the car and should look at buying something cheaper or waiting till you have a bit more money saved up to make the purchase. Car dealers will often have offers for car loans that seem a lot more attractive on paper than they actually are in fact. For example, you should always ask, before considering an offer for credit, how much the car would cost if you were to buy it with cash. This may show you a hidden additional charge of the credit, because for example, if the car would cost ten thousand dollars with credit but only eight thousand with cash, this straight away reveals as two thousand dollar financing charge that you may not have noticed or calculated in to the cost of the credit. If this were the case, you could borrow the eight thousand from your bank and pay for the car in cash, taking advantage of this better price. Always, ask the dealer what the annual percentage rate or APR of the loan is. This is the standard way of costing credit and you can then use this figure to compare the cost with other offers. Find out how many monthly payments you will have to make and how much each monthly payment will be. Will there be a down payment required at the start of the loan, or will you have to make a closing payment at the end of the term. Since car loans can be such large expenses, it is always worth asking these questions and making sure that you get the best deal available on your car loan. Mental Rehearsal - Visualize Yourself A Winner At Weight Control

By Andrea J. Amador You can lose more weight each week and enjoy a greater degree of success by adding the tool of Mental Rehearsal to your toolbox. Since the mind and body are one system, your mind can help you to prepare your body for the actual situation in which you want to behave or act in a certain way. This is a technique that is practiced by all top performers in every field. Just like an athlete prepares for an olympic event or a public speaker prepares for a presentation, you can apply these principles to weight control. The first step is to choose a specific situation where you want to respond in a more resourceful way. It is said that the mind can not tell the difference between a vividly imagined thought and reality. The purposoe of this is to be able to see yourself in a more resourceful way. Let’s take the situation of celebrating a holiday with extended family. The following strategy is what I have used in the past with great success. I have broken it up into 2 parts, the first part is what you can physically do to prepare for the event, the next is to mentally prepare using the Mental Rehearsal. I also suggest that you combine this NLP Process with the Emotional Freedom Technique that follows this post for maximum impact. Using the combination of all these methods, you will notice that you are in control of the situation, feel strong and make good choices. Even if you decide to splurge a bit, you will do it from a point of choice, not unconscious behavior. This process makes you conscious of what you are doing. 1. Focus on what you’ll wear. Visualize what you want to see yourself wearing that day, make sure that you wear something that reminds you of your body. The object of doing this is actually two fold. First it is to focus on something other than what you are going to eat. When you arrive at a get together looking and feeling great, whatever your weight, you will arrive with more resources as opposed to looking like you just threw something together. The second reason is to make you conscious of what you are eating by being able to create a physical reminder for yourself to limit your food intake by wearing something with a tighter waist. 2. Get a bit more exercise throughout the week to balance out this meal. Don’t go nuts. Perhaps add another 10 minutes of activity each day. The purpose of doing this is just to keep you mentally in check and make you accountable to your choices. By already investing extra time and more activity, you’ll be less likely to overeat to the point of misery. 3. Eat a small snack to keep your hunger under control. I tend to favor low calorie comfort foods, like a bowl of soup another thing that really works well for me is a packet of instant oatmeal, I even travel with it and enjoy that on a plane along with a cup of peppermint tea. It reminds me of being in my Nana’s (Grandma’s) kitchen when I was a ittle girl. For that very same reason, I eat it often to give me that sense of self nurtuing that my inner child craves. Your choice is probably different from mine but I am recommending that you find a low calorie substitute to give you a sense of being nurtured. It could be drinking broth, eating a bowl of soup, eating a vegetable stew, a couple of slices of toast with some jelly or some other thing that will fill a deeper need inside of you, as opposed to just feeding your physical hunger. Think about what you eat when you want to nurture youself when you are sick and plan to eat that slowly and consciously. The purpose of doing that is to be able to satisfy that part of you that suffers from feelings of deprivation. It’s that part of your psyche that will reach out for food and seek that out as comfort and lose control because of feeling so deprived. This way you already begin to put in place an anchor of self love and treating yourself with respect and honor. By eating something that reminds you of being loved and safe, you will fill a deeper hunger and you will arrive at the get together ready to engage with people as opposed to seeing out food for comfort. The following is the actual strategy for Mental Rehearsal. 1. Run a movie of the event in your mind Imagine seeing yourself watching a movie of this event. Watch the image of yourself on the screen as you arrive at your destination, see the image of yourself and notice what you do when you feel satisfied after enjoying a special nurturing snack that reminds you of a time when you were comforted. Notice what evidence there is around you showing that you are feeling secure and happy, connected to your goals and seeing the bigger picture of how you respond to this event as a thinner person. Continue to watch the movie and notice yourself greeting people, and hearing yourself saying things that you might want to say, focus on looking for the details around you, visualize seeing yourself making wise choices, having fun, enjoying everyone’s company, laughing and being in control, then going home and being satisfied and continuing the rest of the evening feeling fully satisfied and in control and acknowledging yourself for a job well done and seeing yourself waking up the next day feeling proud and ready to begin your day feeling great and strong. 2. After you finish watching the movie, step into it, and rehearse your response in your imagination. Now see what you will see from your own eyes and hear what you will hear, and tune into your body and notice the sensations of how you feel and notice what you are doing and how you are making choices and what beliefs are driving those choices. I think of this process like walking in the snow. It is so much easier to tread on a spot where you already see a footprint. This is what you are doing, you are setting down footrprints in your mind and by rehearsing the events in your imagination, you’ve already tread on that spot, in your mind, and achieved the goal. You have already accomplished it. My nana always used to say, “Once begun, half done.” Remember to follow this technique up with the next post describing how to use EFT with Mental Rehearsal for maximum impact. The Wide Diverse Field Choices Of Pursuing An Engineering Degree

By Chadder McD. Engineering can be defined as the implication of science to meet the demands of humanity. This is executed through the implication of knowledge in regards to mathematics, physics and practical experience to the blue print of useful processes and objects. The professionals of this execution are known as engineers. Just as music can be sub-grouped into various areas like Western, Country, rap and classic, the different types of engineering can also be sub-grouped as below. Before choosing the engineering specialty of your choosing be sure to research it well. Get a hold of some that already completed their courses and are working in the field, find out their recommendations, tips and warnings. A little research will go a really long way when you consider the many years of commitment youre considering with a degree in engineering. 1. Aerospace Engineering - Aerospace Engineering concentrates on the research and design of spacecraft, aircraft, missiles, and related components. Aerospace engineers design, model, analyze, simulate, and test spacecraft and aircraft as well as their associated components. 2. Bioengineering - Bioengineering combines medical and biological sciences to get a detailed understanding of the biological phenomena. Bioengineers may work with medical practitioners to develop new, medical devices and techniques. They can also work as clinical engineers. 3. Agricultural Engineering -This combines the physical and biological sciences. Agricultural Engineers have options such as agriculture, food systems, biological system and environmental science. They are involved with food and bioprocess engineering as well as bioenvironmental engineering of plant and animal facilities and water quality. 4. Chemical Engineering -This combines the study of chemistry with the laws of engineering, computer science and physics to solve problems. For example, they use natural resources and convert them to corn syrup or computer chips. 5. Civil Engineering Degree - A civil engineering degree online embodies the planning, design, and construction of objects that facilitate life. They are responsible for building bridges, highways, buildings, dams, irrigation systems, etc. 6. Electrical Engineering - Electrical engineering embodies the aspects of biology, physics, medicine, and computer science. They work with electricity and electromagnetic fields used in communication and electronic circuits. 7. Computer Engineering - Computer engineering integrates the design and analysis of computers and the services like computer networks. They also help in designing of intelligence system like robots. 8. Mechanical Engineering Degree - This applies mathematics and science related courses to design machines and components. A person who attains their mechanical engineering degree online will work for the better efficiency of machinery. 9. Nuclear Engineering - This involves the development and use of solar and nuclear energy for energy production and various uses. They study nuclear power and innovate better ways of security and standard of life with less hazards. Other types of engineering include Software Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Radiological Engineering, Bimolecular Engineering, etc., which involve working for the betterment of our society. These days you can even visit an engineering college offering an engineering degree online but you should be very careful and check out the authenticity before committing your hard earned cash to any of them. Married for a Hundred Years

By Michael Brickey, Ph.D. Someday the cover of Time magazine will have a picture of the first couple to be married 100 years. Reporters will flock to them to ask their secret. But you dont have to wait to learn their secret. Research has already given us a good idea of what helps marriages last. By the way the current record, according to the Guinnes Book of World Records is 86 years and is held by two couples. One was a Maine couple who were both born in 1725 and married from 1743 until the wife died. The other was an Indian couple who married when both were five years old and were married until the husband died in 1940. While much of the literature on marriage is just opinion, there is one researcher whose work is outstandingpsychologist John Gottman, Ph.D. For over three decades Gottman has carefully observed, videotaped, and studied social and physiological responses (e.g. heart rate) of more than 2,000 of couples. His research has found several principles that distinguish marriages that work. After all, marriages may be made in heaven, but a lot of the details have to be worked out on earth. One principle is that successful couples know a lot about each other. For example, do you know your spouses (or paramours) favorite movie, book, flower, dessert, or perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon? If not, ask. Another principle is that they have fond memories about their relationship. Every marriage has its difficult times and challenges. In successful marriages, people savor and fondly remember the good times and let the bad memories wither or see the humor in them. Another principle is that the couples have at least five times as many positive interactions as negative interactions. This is simple conditioning and common sense. If many of the interactions were negative, who would want to stay in the marriage? Yet another principle is that couples have fond feeling for each other, admire each other, and let their partners influence them. Have you told your partner lately how much you admire him or her? One of the most interesting contemporary marriages is James Carville and Mary Matalins marriage. He was President Clintons campaign manager and is a frequent television commentator. She was deputy campaign manager for George Bush Sr. and has her own television and radio program. They have coauthored a book and a baby. Do they have nothing in common because they are passionate spokespeople for opposing parties, or do they have a lot in common because of their passion for politics? Whether couples have much in common has more to do with what they perceive than objective measures. Couples who stay together look for commonalities and respect and tolerate differences. Each of these is in your control. If you dont believe me, ask your spouse if you could do better. If you are going to stay married, it is certainly worth making your marriage an enjoyable and rewarding marriage. As Gottman put it, A romantic night out really turns up the heat only when a couple has kept the pilot light burning by staying in touch in the little ways. Gottmans books can be very helpful and would be good to read and discuss with your spouse. His books include: Why Marriages Succeed or Fail and The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. Gottmans and other marital principles are also covered in the chapter on marriage in Defy Aging. Unfortunately, most Americans dont place a high enough priority on our marriages and martial skills to make a marriage last even a few decades. And even if we do, we may have to deal with a spouse dying. Consequently, we need to become very skilled at beginning and ending relationships. If every time a relationship doesnt work out our lives sound like a country and western song, we will wear ourselves out. Rather we want to be able to say something like: Im glad we had the relationship. We both grew a lot and learned a lot and became better persons. I hope we can remain friends. What do I need to do now? Benjamin Franklins advice to a person starting a new relationship would be, Keep your eyes wide open before marriage, half shut afterward. Dr. Michael Brickey, The Anti-Aging Psychologist, teaches people to think, feel, look and be more youthful. He is an inspiring keynote speaker and the Oprah-featured author of Defy Aging and 52 baby steps to Grow Young. Depression-My Story

By Rebecca White What is depression? Depression is a serious medical illness; its not something that you have made up in your head. Its more than just feeling “down in the dumps” or “blue” for a few days. Its feeling “down” and “low” and “hopeless” for weeks at a time. It is not something you can just pull yourself out of! It is not something that you can just shake off. To read more about the signs and symptoms of depression go to this link: http://www.nimh.nih.gov/publicat/depression.cfm#ptdep3 For many people one tiny thing can set off a huge depression attack. I have suffered from depression now for 8 years, I guess to be truthful I have dealt with depression my whole life but just didnt realize it till the incident I am about to relate to you. 8 years ago my husband Brent was in the military, he had been having problems with his health for a little over a year and the doctors all said it was in his head and that they could find nothing wrong with him. Our oldest sons were only 1 and 3 at the time and we lived in Olympia Washington. I kept telling him to get a second opinion but being we had military insurance and at that time it wasnt as flexible as it is now, he didnt want to go get a second opinion. We lived in a nice apartment and I love our life, although I was homesick a lot of times it was the life we chose and so I was happy till the incident I will tell you about. I woke up one morning your typical morning, get up to pack Brents lunch and wake him up for PT (physical training) it was 5:30 in the morning. He wasnt in bed which for him was very unusual but I thought he may have just needed to use the bathroom and I missed him getting out of bed. I walked into the kitchen to start making our morning coffee, and realized that the TV was still on which it shouldnt have been. I then started looking for Brent I went into the bathroom and found him in a coma on our bathroom floor. I couldnt get a response from him and I panicked. I got the boys up threw them in the car and then dragged my husband from our bathroom to our van to get him to the hospital as fast as I could. Now why didnt I just call the ambulance? To be honest I didnt think about that all I wanted to do was get him some help. When we got to the hospital he was still in a coma, the doctors couldnt figure out why he was non responsive. They pulled me and my sons out of the room he was in and told me to find someone to watch the boys and get back to the hospital as fast as I could and to call his family as they didnt think he was going to make it. I was thrown our perfect life, our safe life was in just a few short hours going to change. I can deal with some stress but the thought of losing my best friend was more than I could bare. We didnt have a cell phone at that time so I ran with the kids in both my arms to the payphone to call the only friend I had at that time to tell her what was going on, she was getting ready to move in 2 days but she told me to bring my kids to her house and she would watch them. I then drove the 20 minutes back to our house dropped the kids off at her house ran home and called his parents. During that time I got a phone call from his captain that the doctor had called him to tell him to track me down as my husband was dying and they didnt think he was going to pull through. I screamed I cried I just didnt believe this was happening to us! I got back in the car and smoked cigarettes to try to calm down, we had quit smoking a month before this, my friend had given me her cigarettes while I was at her house. I rushed into the emergency room and the doctor met me out in the hall way and was asking me all sorts of questions of course I didnt want to take the time to answer I wanted to get back to my hubby, my world, my best friend. The Doctor told me that his sugar levels were 950 and that he really should have died sometime during the night but he was a fighter. Finally he let me go into the room where Brent was and I leaned over him pleading with him to not leave me, pleading with him not to leave his sons. He opened his eyes and the only thing he said was I am mad at you, you were smoking then he went back into his coma. Of course the doctors then pushed me out of the way and started trying to get him to respond to them, they then told me they were taking him to ICU to work on him and get him on a heart catheter. 48 hours later he was awake and was responding to treatment, they had found out that he was a type 1 diabetic although they still dont understand how he got it since no one in his family has diabetes and and Type 1 is not the kind you get because of your health or your weight you are usually born with it and diagnosed with it while you are still a kid. After he was released from the hospital after a 7 day stay I lived in constant worry. I could not focus on anything except making sure he was ok, did he eat, did he take his medications. For weeks I could not sleep at night for fear he would have another attack, I still have times where I go through that now. In an effort to try to calm my fears I started focusing on things in my life that I could control: my weight, the dirty carpets ( we rented so the carpets were very old and had always looked dirty but I was able to live with that till this happened. I wouldnt do the dishes, my poor kids were always dirty, the house was a total mess. I mean have you seen those houses that are on tv that Oprah has shown well at one point my house looked like that. I only focused on scrubbing the carpet. I would get up in the morning look at the kitchen try to clean it up and just couldnt my attention would be drawn to the dirt spot in the carpet by the kitchen entrance. So I would go out to my cleaning closet get out my bucket and scrub brush and start scrubbing that spot. I would still be there scrubbing hours later when Brent came home for lunch. My poor sons, I love my sons with all my heart but I will admit for the first month Brent was home from the hospital if it hadnt been for my mom and my MIL they wouldnt have been clean or fed. I looked at them and didnt want to deal. When I was scrubbing the carpets I was zoned out to everything! I didnt think, I didnt care. This was so not like me! Finally Brent knew that something was very wrong with me so he made an appointment for me to see a doctor and I was diagnosed with manic depression and OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). They didnt want to put me on medication right away they want to try to teach me other ways to focus my fears and obsession with out having to resort to medications. But after a month they realized I needed medicine to help me get through this time of my life. I hate medicine, I dont like taking it, I have a hard time remembering to finish the whole dosage. So for me it was a struggle in the beginning to just take the medication. After a few months the medicine helped me get my life back to where I was able to handle it again. Why do I tell you all this, not sure really. I just know that for me it turned my life upside down over the past 8 years we have several times that I have had to call the EMS to save him, our world has changed. I live in the fear that we will have to go through this again. When he has episodes I go into a state of worry, depression. I pray that our lives will get back to like they were 12 years ago. No worries living in our own little world where nothing hurts us. I still go into states of depression but now I know the signs I know when I need to call my doctor and I also know now that for me I cannot pull myself out of it! I now can share with my friends when I am down and have made up a support line of other moms who know me and know that I suffer from depression, who I can call or email when I need that emotional support that sometimes a family member cannot give. I started Support for Moms in an effort to help other moms who suffer from depression or need a place to go to voice their feelings. I went through another major depression this past spring and when I reached out for help from an online board that I was at I got booted as a moderator after 3 years of being a moderator on the boards and helping other moms who dealt with depression. They told me it was not because I was depressed but since the day before I had just posted that I needed help, I needed to talk and I posted my soul something I rarely do online or for that matter in person to anyone who is not family. I had a hard time believing it was for any other reason. This made me start searching for a place to post to find someone else who I could talk to who was dealing with what I was dealing with. So Support for Moms was born! It is my wish that the site and the boards offer comfort, support for all moms from all walks of life dealing with situations that they have no control over. So if you are in need of comfort, support or just want to vent and get lifes stresses off your chest please stop by our boards. Thank you for reading my story and I hope this may help just one person. Rebecca White is the host for Heal Yourself Talk Radio. Aloe Vera — The Medical Mystery Of The Friendly Flora

By John Gibb Aloe Vera is a succulent, flowering, perennial plant from the Lily family. There are hundreds of species of Aloe plant but Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller to use the full title is the one known as True Aloe. It has been used for a wide variety of medicinal purposes throughout history. Modern pharmaceutical companies use extracts of Aloe Vera in many skin-based cosmetics, sited as a natural approach to cosmetics. Aloe Vera is grown throughout the world, historically in drier tropical regions, and is used both for its aesthetic beauty and other purposes. It is mainly known as a treatment for the skin, applied to cuts, burns, eczema, etc. The gel contained within the plant is widely recognised as the best source of the healing properties. While modern science sometimes refutes the plant as having much medicinal value, it has been used throughout history, by ancient cultures all over the world and also by famous individuals. Nelson Mandela praises the plant and Christopher Columbus too (Aloe Health UK). Aloe Vera contains enzymes that the body needs from foods, and a whole host of vitamins and minerals. It also contains plant steroids with analgesic, anti-inflammatory properties. In its raw form, parts of the plant also act as a powerful laxative. Those who support Aloe Vera believe in its use as a drink or foodstuff and not just as a source of chemicals for health products, though unfortunately the raw plant has a bitter taste and is best to be prepared with fruits. Aloe is still hotly debated in medicinal circles. There is evidence both for and against its restorative powers. The main problem with testing the effectiveness of the plant in speeding the recovery of wounds is that one cannot wound a person beyond minor incisions for the sake of medical trial. Nevertheless the tributes of ancient people, folklore and mythology give hope to the idea of using the plant as a healing aid. The Top 5 Most Affordable Marketing Strategies for Small Businesses

By Peter Geisheker A question that keeps countless small business owners awake at night is, “How do I attract customers and grow my business when I have little or no money for marketing?” Here are 5 low cost “Guerrilla Marketing” strategies you can use to grow your business: 1. Create a revenue sharing partnership with a business that sells a non-competing product to your target market. The way to structure this partnership is that your partner includes information about your product or service in their marketing materials and in exchange you give them a commission on each sale. 2. Join a local and/or national barter exchange network and trade your products or services for advertising services such as radio or print advertising. 3. Write and distribute a news release telling the media about your business news. You can announce a new product or service, a unique way of doing business, a company anniversary, new employees you have hired, a new office location, etc. 4. If you have a website, you can inexpensively drive very targeted customers to your website using the Google Adwords pay per click search engine marketing service. Depending on the keywords you choose, this service can cost as little as five cents to send a prospective buyer to your website. This marketing tool works wonders when you have a well written sales message on your website. 5. Create step-by-step sales scripts to help you and your sales force make powerful presentations and close more sales. Create several responses to each objection you routinely hear from prospective customers and memorize those responses. The more confident you sound when talking to prospective customers, the more those customers will trust you and have faith in your ability to help them. You must also create and memorize several closes so when you are talking to a client, you know how to confidently ask for the sale. A Romantic Dinner Made From You

By Jonathon Hardcastle Men and women out there like you believe in the sentimental power of a romantic dinner. Some carefully chosen recipes, flowers, candles, and some smiles, can transform a simple dinner invitation to an extraordinary dinning experience made just for you two. If you enjoy the intimacy a romantic dinner arrangement can bring to your lives, then it would be a great idea to try out another romantic meeting without spending your time thinking of how much this dinner will cost, but rather concentrate your thoughts on pleasing your partner in the comfort of your own house. You can pull it off with a minimum of fuss as long as you plan some things beforehand. Put your imagination to work and you can create your own romantic miracle. Dream up something you can prepare a day or even some hours ahead of time, concentrating on your partner’s food preferences, and get down to work. It takes only a ten minute drive to your local grocery store for some fresh ingredients and then your idea can lead your special other to the romantic unknown culinary world you of your own creation. Your masterpieces can be of any nature. You do not have to become a chef to convert a simple one meal dinner to a extravagant eight meal course that will make your partner’s lips wanting to taste more often your cooking efforts. Begin by selecting the place you want both of you to enjoy this special treat. Whether this is outdoors under the starlight or indoors at a carefully garnished table, the important thing is that you are going to start a new relationship ritual that you will love to indulge yourself with from time to time. Then examine the weather conditions. If the season’s temperature is high, select cold served food and iced drinks. If the frosty air makes you want to stay inside, then go for hot chocolate and warm food. Both will create the memories you are looking for and both will equally surprise and please the other party. If you want to elevate the experience to a two parties deal, try cooking something together. It is such a romantic start to be able to explore your cooking talents and laugh at each other’s “mistakes.” Be generous with your presentation and decorate everything adequately as this dinner is made to be enjoyed by both of you. Float several candles in a glass punch or salad bowl, arrange some flowers on the dinner table, dig out those pieces of flatware you never use, and get as creative as you can. You don’t have to spend a fortune to get the romantic feeling across the other side of the table. Being romantic is all about intuition and letting your feelings become part of the meal you specially prepared for both of you. It can be memorable as any and it doesn’t have to cost much at all. Get your inspiration hints from observing your partner’s food likings. If your partner adores sweet deals, offer some delicious treats that will make him or her appreciate the effort even more. If your last anniversary was a success, bring back that night by recreating the atmosphere with some simple romantic touches. Prepare ahead of time-it would be awful to run out of an ingredient while in the process, or to mess up the recipe because you forgot to read it through carefully the first time. Regardless if this is going to be a “big” surprise to your significant other, be sure that he or she will have a blast with the idea of you announcing something like, “Would you like to join me for dinner? Tonight romance is specially served for you!” Jonathon Hardcastle writes articles on many topics including Cooking, Travel, and Food Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Jonathon_Hardcastle http://EzineArticles.com/?A-Romantic-Dinner-Made-From-You&id=286688 online pharmacy diet pills obtaining online prescriptions online doctors for prescriptions online drug prescriptions
